What is considered to be heavy bleeding in a woman's cycle?

Answer:
Flow that soaks through 1 or more pads or tampons every hour for several consecutive hours; and/or
The need to use double protection to control flow; and/or
The need to change protection during the night; and/or
Heavy flow lasting longer than seven days; and/or
Flow that includes large blood clots (larger than an inch in diameter); and/or
Flow that interferes with your lifestyle; and/or
Symptoms of anemia (fatigue or shortness of breath).
Heavy bleeding? If you need to change your pad after you've had it on for less than an hour.

Or do you mean what could be wrong?

Maybe an infection/endometriosis. Talk to a doctor asap.
