What is menopause?

I just hear it a lot and have no clue what it meens!
Answer:
Menopause is when you stop having your period. Menos meaning menses, pause meaning stops.
Menopause can be natural (when you reach a certain age and stop producing enough hormones to sustain a pregnancy, thus stopping the monthly bleeding), chemical (as one caused by hormone therapy, chemotherapy or such) and surgical ( when they take out your ovaries and uterus).
It's something that women go through later in life. Their hormones can go out of wack and they stop their period.
Menopause is a stage in life when a woman stops having her monthly period.It is a normal part of aging, marking the end of a woman's reproductive years.Get enough calcium.
